What information do we collect?
Alignment Legal’s computer systems (or its service providers’ systems) may electronically collect certain information about you when you use this Site.  The collected data may include your internet provider’s domain name, browser type, time zone, language, operating system, and date of visit.  It may also include the last webpage you visited before visiting this Site, and the pages you viewed on our Site and how much time you spent on each one, your click through, your clickstream data, queries you made, search results you selected, history, or comments made.


Non-personally identifiable visitor information that may be collected about visitors to this Site may include: which pages on the Site are accessed, what information is downloaded, what type of browser and operating system are being used, which Internet service provider is being used, and other information of this general nature.  This information does not allow us to personally identify the Site visitor.  By collecting this information anonymously, we learn how to best develop our Site to meet our visitors’ needs.  On various pages on the Site, including the blog and news pages, you may have the ability to subscribe or to provide us your contact information in order to sign up for seminars or to receive marketing or educational materials.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party resources on our Site.  These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies.  We, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.  Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Site and welcome any feedback about these third party sites.

Our Site contains links to social media services where users may post comments.  These third party services may collect and share information about users which may be disclosed to anyone to whom the user sends a message.  Any information that is posted or disclosed through social media may be available to us and to other users of that service or the public.  We are not responsible for the operation of such third party services, and this Policy does not apply to any information collected by such third party services.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.  All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.  Messaging and data charges may apply.  You can opt-out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.  You can request more information

Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy and your use of this Site are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.  You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina for any claim or dispute arising from this Policy or the use of this Site.  You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.
